Welcome back to Reader UI of the Week, folks. I have just moved a few characters around server and faction-wise, so I've been knee-deep in moving interface folders around and setting up addons again with the incredibly annoying, yet functional, profile system. Suffice to say, I hope the profile system gets updated in the future with more options.www.threadwow.com

This week's Reader UI submission comes from Zachi, long-time addon junkie and new reader to WoW Insider. Welcome, ma'am or sir; we are glad to have you here. Hang around, won't you? Zachi's UI is based around ElvUI, my personal favorite (and recommended) UI compilation that makes a great base for any user interface, be it tank, DPS, or healer. Adding to a compilation UI can be a tricky affair, so let's see what we can learn from how Zachi added addons to an already featured UI compilation.

Deadly Boss Mods - The one constantly mentioned and boy was this a pain to set up for me just in the fact that I went through each and every raid boss for cataclysm double checking that the correct things were checked. It probably wouldn't take quite so much time if I raided less than I do but I find that all the time spent squinting at the screen was well worth the effort so that I have only want I want to see showing up.

Elkano's Buff Bars - Wonderful add-on that gives me all the information I need to know and it gets slapped over to the side of the screen so that it stays out of line of sight.

Miks Scrolling Battle Text - While the default config is nice I did move things off to the side and make the windows a little smaller so I wasn't only seeing the combat text in the middle of fights.

online strategy games http://swqrnice.lacoctelera.net/post/2010/04/15/online-strategy-games 2010-04-15T05:38:04+00:00 The owners of NetDevil wow powerleveling  gave us some rigid guidelines within which to work. Within those guidelines, however, they turned us loose. They specifically wanted three completely distinct play experiences and were willing to ride herd on three zealous, creative and possibly slightly insane Leads in order to reach that goal.

As to specific duties, I spent a LOT of my workday collaborating with the other leads to make certain that our stories and areas meshed. Once we had haggled the history to our mutual satisfaction I'd write the design documentation for the next zone. This was where I got to run in whatever direction the fiction and I took each other. In Malachite, for instance, I knew that I wanted a massive strip mine to underscore how pressed for resources the Order is. They've tapped every source. I also knew that we wanted a lot more color in the landscape if possible. Copper ore, vibrant blue and green, seemed the perfect ticket, so I started searching for real strip mines. The real mine inspired a map shape for which I wrote spawn-plans, AI requests, feature requests, etc. to populate. That doc     wow power level    went to a Map Designer... Brian "Meatsickle" Kidd did that one, I think... who was responsible for bringing it to a visual bar. We then tag-teamed development of the visuals, triggering, spawning, iterative testing, and so forth...

There is an inherent difference between MMORPG's and true online strategy games. While online games such as World of Warcraft and others claim to be strategy games in essence they have very little aside from click, kill, loot, and repeat.

True strategy games, such as    AION kinah the board game classic of Risk, have been reborn online in inferior multiplayer environments, but online strategy games with real gravitas are few and far between. Finding free online strategy games with true replayability is an even greater task. This article digs through the Flash based strategy game back-catalog and pulls two lesser known gems from the genre.

We are still deciding exactly what to do for our 'capital' however we plan on something small and secret. So just a basic village out of the way for us. This of course also depends on how things work when the game is released.

That area was Dan Russett's brain-baby. Adam {Maxwell} and Chris {Holtorf) had collaboratively conceived of a zone where you gain status and power for your faction by controlling the Outposts. The sum of my contribution was saying things like "Wow, nice map, Dan," and "Which entry points are mine? Oh, cool, thanks."

We talk to the Biomek actual himself, former Lead Content Designer Hal "maRaider" Hanlin, who shaped the Biomek history, their draconian Doctrine and the biomechanical concept:

Fall of Rome is a turn based online strategy game that in some ways reminds one of a cross between Risk and Civilization. Players compete in a turn-based fashion, with the ultimate goal of dominating and/or completing the goal for a specific game session.

Each game can last as much as two months,   cheap wow gold ending when a player has met the criteria for victory. Each game is further broken down into segments lasting around three days each where players have an opportunity to submit orders to their computerized minions.

After each segment of play the server calculates, updates, and randomizes the game environment to account for how the various strategies might play out - and then the next round begins. While there is a monthly subscription cost to the game beginners can try it out at a discounted rate.

EverQuest II : Blancmanteau, le festival de Norrathian de parenté et donnant, a renvoyé à EverQuest II. Les joueurs peuvent se joindre à la célébration programmée du 10 décembre, au 7 janvier. Légendes of Norrath : du 18 décembre au 4 janvier, légendes de Norrath offre un pack forfait vacances, y compris des packs de booster 25 de l'expansion de voyageurs. Chaque pack bundle contient l'un des quatre montages de l'expansion de Oathbound retraité. Les joueurs recevront un montage EverQuest ou EverQuest II en fonction de leurs paramètres dans le client de légendes de Norrath. Légendes of Norrath offre également des joueurs une deuxième façon de célébrer les fêtes avec tournois à la demande. Huit joueurs peuvent démarrer un tournoi à tout moment entre le 24 décembre à 2 h (heure du Pacifique) et 4 janvier à 10 h (heure du Pacifique). Pour seulement cinq événements passes, les joueurs pénétrer dans le tournoi de vacances et un pack de garder de grand-ers spécial !
